September
The grape harvest offers very special opportunities, both to watch and to experience: try your hand at picking grapes, enjoy a sociable lunch with the grape pickers, visit the press house and round off your day with a wine tasting!
October
Champagne Day: this world event, which takes place every year on the 4th Friday of October, gives all enthusiasts the opportunity to share a moment over a glass of Champagne. Many celebrations to which you are invited are organized in Champagne on this day.
November - December
The Reims Christmas market with its chalets laid out at the foot of the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral for a month of festive fun.
December
Habits de Lumière festival : 3 days of festivities, at the heart of Avenue de Champagne in Épernay. The programme includes street entertainment, champagne bars, musical performances, fireworks and gourmet cuisine.
January
The St Vincent's Day festival features an impressive procession with traditional costumes, organised by the winegrowers to give thanks to their patron saint.
May
La Champenoise is an 18-km race through the vineyards: you can run at your own pace with champagne tasting stops along the way or opt for the timed race with rankings.
June
The Fêtes Johanniques, or Festival of Joan of Arc, is a popular 2-day festival commemorating the coronation of Charles VII and the triumphant procession to Reims cathedral, led by Joan of Arc on 17 July 1429.
June to July
Every summer, the Flâneries musicales festival welcomes a symphony orchestra to Reims, culminating with a magnificent picnic concert and firework display in the Parc de Champagne.
July
The Fêtes Henri IV à Aÿ takes place in Aÿ, a festival featuring music, entertainment, a grand parade, arts & crafts and gastronomy!
